Like airplanes? This place is for you !

This is THE destination for you if you have even the slightest interest in the history of aviation, or if you were in the airforce, or just like looking at an amazing collection of airplanes.
Lots of exhibits about WW-II etc. Most of the planes are outside, but some are inside hangars, It gets hot out there in the summer so be sure to wear a hat or bring an umbrella. There is a lot of walking involved although there is a tram tour.
It isn't a good place to go on a rainy day though. Fortunately we don't have many of those here
There is a gift shop and a small snack bar.
It's mostly a volunteer supported operation.
It's near the airport, but a bit away from most of the rest of town.
