  1. Arizona Capitol Museum

The Capitol Museum is a bit hard to find and parking can be hard to find but so worth the effort.

The museum is in the old historic legilature building, surrounded by the new Senate and House buildings with the governor tower behind it. The museum hosts the USS Arizona silver service, pulled from the ship prior to its sinking in Pearl Harbor during the attack on December 7, 1941. Many other exhibits demonstrate the political life of Arizona during the Territorial legislature prior to becoming a state in 1912.

If you go during January through May you can go up to the gallery of the current house or senate during session and witness Arizona legislatures at work.

Great place and it is free!
