  1. Great Food and Great Place

To enjoy a restaurant and make a visit memorable different things must happen. Have a great meal, but also great service inside a unique place. The Hotel Congress offers all this. This is a place with character and great personality. Walk into the Cup Cafe and you will walk on money (literally the floor is covered in pennies).
My favorite time there? Breakfast. I love the build your own omelette. Here (as with the nightclub) everything is possible. For me, it is the great omelette with Blue Cheese.....
At night you can stop for a drink and immediately you are part of special group of regulars. My first time at the at Hotel Congress, I found a small group of people gathered on one side of the bar. The bartender came to me and my friend and placed a shot glass in front of us. I asked him why, and he said that the small group of people at the other side of the bar just came from a funeral. Their grandfather had passed away and he was a regular at the bar. We alll had a drink to remember him.
Go to Hotel Congress, have a great time, and leave with a piece of history in your mind and soul.
