I forgot how cool Old Tucson is!

I was recently out at Old Tucson with some guests I had come in from Canada. We checked out the museum, the attractions, and ammenities. To be more specific, we cruised the museum (which was awesome for a Western Movie buff like myself), took a train ride around the property, and went on a horseback ride. It was sooo cool. The studios are all decked out for Nightfall (their nationally rated scary Halloween festivities) and such a hoot to see in the daylight! There's no better way to check out the beautiful saguaro forest behind the Old Tucson buildings than by horseback. What views! I took my nephews (ages 10 and 8) there last March and they had an absolute blast. The haunted mine tour and gunfights were their favorites. They've already asked to go back the next time they are out.

It's nice to be reminded of the jewels we have right in our own back yard. Check out Old Tucson if your looking for something to do or someplace to take your out of town guests. It's worth the drive. As a matter of fact, the drive out, through Gates Pass, is another reason to get out there. See for yourself!
