Relaxing retreat
If you are lucky enough to be in Tucson in April then you are lucky enough, but to truly enjoy the most beautiful blue sky one can ever see it is best enjoyed from the hiking trails or poolside at the Westin. With various tropical drinks delivered to the lounge chairs, a waterslide and adult only swimming pool there really is something for everyone, unless of course you are a fun hater.

Great Resort
I agree with Space Case. This is a great resort in Tucson. The rooms are nice, and I like the way the resort overall is laid out. Some of the fancy resorts can be a bit awkeward to get around, but this one has a real good feel to it.
Great pool, too.- 0 people found this review helpful

Simply great
I'm not a huge traveler, and so I don't have a long history of hotel stays to compare the La Paloma to, but my experience there was just awesome. The rooms, the surrounding resort and the service were all top-notch.
I was there for a conference, and I stayed for an extra day of sessions that really weren't *required* for me to attend, just because I was enjoying my stay so much. I actually miss the place, thinking about it - I would go back at the earliest opportunity.
Lastly, even at very nice hotels, I usually don't find the food to be "super", but every meal I did eat at the resort was just great. Better than what I had at a couple of restaurants in Tuscon outside of the hotel.
