Surprise Stadium is part of the Surprise Recreation Campus, a massive facility that offers the two Cactus League teams that play here - Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers - six practice fields each (!) plus the main stadium for Spring Training. The stadium was built in 2002 and holds up to 10,500 people. Tickets start at $7 but if you long for some shade, get a seat in the second level or the center section of the main level. Of course you could also watch the game from the Homerun Party Deck located in right center field. At $35 it comes with a roof and an all-you-can-eat buffet.
