Dirty rooms, Dishonest Staff, Bad Experience!

Although the countryside was beautiful my family of four was disappointed by the filthy rooms and overpriced ammenities. Also, we signed up for an hour and a half horse back ride but only received 70 minutes. This was coupled with the mud covered horses not being ready and the saddles not properly fitted or tightened. My husbands saddle twisted to the side and he fell off. When we complained about the shortened ride the employees either were confused or dishonest -saying that we had received the full length of the ride. I would only return to this establishment if I had money to burn!

Old West at It's Best

Arizonahighways-sunsetboulders_small

This beautiful 160 acre ranch is located in the heart of Texas Canyon. Easily located from the Interstate, it is worth the side trip. Their old time saloon is built around one of the magnificent boulders. Food is good, and friendly service was provided. The casitas looked well kept and we full of antique furnishings. RV sites were available with full hookups, electric only, or dry camping allowed. They offered trail rides through the boulders at very reasonable prices. They allow hiking, photography, bird watching, horseshoe pits, campfires, and more. Great place to enjoy a ranch style weekend without a major time commitment.
