  1. Desert hikes

This state park is named after a lost gold mine that I Jacob Waltz ("the Dutchman") claimed to have rediscovered in the 1870s. After hi death many tried to located the mine - without success.

Today this state park overs a campground and hiking trails that range between 1 and 6 miles. In summer it gets over 100 F, never hike without taking enough water for everybody.
