Desert Voyagers Guided Raft Tours, LLC. offers scenic half-day float tours on the Lower Salt River. Clients can call up to 24 hours before to book their tour and they run year round! They offer traditional inflatable raft tours or the more adventurous Funyak tours (two-person inflatable kayaks) and all the tours are guided by fun, professional, knowledgeable guides.
The tours are great for families, groups, corporate parties and events, or locals looking to explore the outer edges of the Phoenix metropolitan area. They pick you up in Mesa, bring you to the river on the Tonto National Forest and have you back to your car three hours later. You're likely to see wild mustangs, bald eagles, great blue heron and other wildlife on your tour. What a great way to experience the Sonoran Desert and get some beautiful pictures, fun and exercise!
