I have to agree with Rhiannon - the Tomato Basil Bisque was truly exquisite.
If soups aren't your thing, try their amazing burgers! The Lamb Burger is especially to die for with feta, dried apricots, pine nuts, roasted red onion...all lightly sprinkled with spicy mint yogurt.
The tavern is located in a converted old warehouse building in Old Town and the turn-of-the-century architecture featuring sixteen foot ceilings, 100 year old Douglas fir wood beams, and brick walls make for a cozy place to sip a microbrew or a martini.

I was thrilled to visit Davis Street Tavern for the first time today. I was even more thrilled to find that their lunch special was Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Bisque. The grilled cheese was made with sharp cheddar and Boursin (along with another cheese that I can't remember). The bread was perfectly grilled and was amazing dipped in the soup.
I was very pleased with my lunch and can't wait to go back!
