   Great wine and food

   Arriving at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night for dinner, the first thing you'll notice is the look of the front entrance to Barcelona. Before you go, I highly suggest to call in for a reservation maybe one day in advance. There is a live band playing smooth, soulful jazz while you enjoy your dinner.

   The wine list is spectacular, from Chardonnays to Merlot, Champagne and sparkles, you will surely find one that will quench your thirst. I went with the Shafer, Merlot, Napa.

   On ordering, I'm a steak type of person. I ordered their 16 oz Prime Ribeye. It was one of the best I've ever tasted. I swear I don't work for Barcelona! I would go back again and again for it. The service there is wonderful, the staff and servers were helpful.

   We finished dinner around 9:30 p.m. or so, the restaurant turns into a dance club. What better way to finish an evening right? The music are top 40's played by a DJ but also a live band actually plays there too. Envy is the name of the group. I was very impressed with their singing talent. They had the crowd going all night.

   Some of the negative about the place:
   - It's so far away from where I live
   - Parking is horrible if you go later after 11 p.m.
   - Drinks are a bit pricey
   - The dance floor can get a bit tight

   Overall I really enjoyed Barcelona and would go back.
