Local art

Of course you can see the flying fish but my favorite part of Pike Place is the local art & crafts. I've been to the market several times before but this was the first Saturday and the place was packed! You can find unique souvenirs here that don't scream "Seattle" or "rain" like in touristy shops as well as locally grown food & beautiful flowers.

Pike Place Market

Experience Seattles eclectic side when you are walking through levels of shops displaying the work of local artists, farmers, hobbyists and more. You'll find a wide variety of products including, but definitely not limited to, fresh fruits and vegetables, hand crafted jewelry, clothing.

Plus, the first Starbucks in the world is located in the building(which houses even more shops)right across the street!
