Goodyear Swap Mart is Closing

Goodyear Swap Meet, 17605 W. McDowell Road, Goodyear, Arizona, United States

As I saw many of the Vendors vanishing, I began asking questions and discovered that the Goodyear Swap Meet is closing down. Apparently, the state is purchasing the property.

So, now what?

Several of the Vendors are relocating to the A-to-Z Indoor Marketplace in Peoria. It's a bit slow now as the shops are just setting up, but looks like it could become the indoor version of Goodyear, with a classier look (it's all black draping and feels like a trade show).

took you back to the days of cowboys and gunfights

shoot out at the OK Corral, allen street , Tombstone, Arizona, United States

We visited tombstone and the ok corral and went to the gunfight at the ok corral. I would recomen taking the family there it was really cool to see that as well as the bird cage theatre. You saw the orginal bullet holes in the ceiling and the original building is still standing

So good....We Ate There AGAIN!

Fournos Restaurant, 3000 W Hwy-89A, Sedona, Arizona, United States

Recently went back for another meal at Fournos... And it was even better! We started with the same warm bread and parmesan pesto dipping sauce... But there were many specials and new menu items. I had the garlic cognac mushrooms &my friend started with an appetizer specials of mussels. We were both groaning!

Entrees I had the fresh farfalle pasta with meatballs. OMG! Chef Ivan Flowers out did himself with this one! My friend ate a chile chocolate beef brisket special.

We shared a wonderful Grenache and a tiramisu (home made of course!)

Next time we go back,we are doing the tasting menus!!!

Great place to stay! Right on the lake and has a pool, great location and great amenities. A great value.
