• El Capitan Fresh Mexican Grill: Our Favorite Mexican Food in Flagstaff!!!

  My husband and I have lived in Flagstaff for fifteen years and our favorite choice for dinner is Mexican food, so I definately rate ourselves as having experienced palettes for this type of cuisine. We've tried all the restaurants in Flagstaff several times over and El Capital Fresh Mexican Grill has become our favorite place. We love their salsa bar with a variety of salsas made fresh every day. There are so many delicious tasting items on the menu that we love with great daily specials, like the tacos & beer, all at reasonable prices. The red sauce on their enchiladas is the best in town...hands down!!! The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is always friendly. They've got a treasure chest filled with kid's toys and it's just a very family-friendly restaurant. I think anyone REALLY knows good Mexican food when they taste it should try this place if they haven't already. You'll definately go back for more. San Felipe and El Charro's Mexican food don't have anything on El Capitan in my opinion.

  NiMarco's Pizza serves fresh hot slices in a variety of toppings. If you pull up to the store and see a line out the door, don't be intimidated....the line moves fast. And to me that's always a good indicator that the food inside is gonna be good. If you like like medium to thick crust style pizza with a generous amount of cheese and toppings, cheap prizes, and a cozy atmosphere, then this is the place for you. The wings here can't be beat either- some of the best in town. They also serve, calzones, wings, salads, beer & wine. If you have a large party, they can accomodate you in their dining room or on their outdoor patio. The staff is always friendly! It's a great local's favorite and definately mine too!
