Vasa Museum: Vasa Museum
This is a very, very nicely done museum. Interestingly there is only one big attraction in the museum: the famous warship Vasa which sank half an hour into its maiden voyage in 1628. The ship was salvaged in 1961 and is now on display at this museum that was built to house the ship. What makes the musem so interesting is not only the Vasa itself (which is - 500 years later - still spectecular and truly impressive) but also how the museum tells the story of the ship and how it was raised from Stockholm harbor. Several exhibitions tell about the political situation at the time, tthe lives of the sailors who were lost with the ship and the complicated process to find and raise the ship. When you come to Stockholm this is a must-see attraction.

Cafe Tabac: Cafe Tabac
This is a tapas bar (they also serve sandwiches) that is popular with the young locals. You can either sit in the bar area or the small restaurant, food is served in both. Do not judge the food by the cleanlyness of the bathrooms.
