McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park: What a fun place for you and your child!
This park is really neat!!! It has a couple of different play areas with swings, slides and such for your young child to play with. It also has a very cool train that goes around the entire park, and a carousel for the kids to go on over and over again. It is really awesome during the holidays when you can go at night and it is all lit up during the train ride. The only thing i can say is that it is better for younger children such as toddlers up to about 6 or 7 years old. However, during the holidays, i think anyone of any age will enjoy it.

Phoenix Zoo, The: The Phoenix Zoo is a place for discovery!
I took my children to the Phoenix Zoo this weekend for the first time. Although, my kids have gone before, i had never been and what an experience it was. There is so much to see and so much to do. They have so many animals and the walk around the area was beautiful. They had a little splash pad area for the kids to play in and get wet since the weather was still a little warm. They also had food, rock climbing, a string ray display and so much more. I recommend taking your family or even yourself to see this soon!

Morton's, The Steakhouse: Scrumptious Food in a nice area
We got a gift certificate for this restaurant and decided to try it out. I am so glad that we did. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful and even though it is a little pricey, it was very much worth it. I suggest going here in the evening for dinner any day of the week. We will definitely be dining here again

Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino: What an awesome fireworks display!
I went to the radisson for the fort mcdowell fourth of july extravaganza. They had food, games, contests, and live entertainment. I also was able to see the great fireworks right from the pool area. They were amazing and right over our heads. This is definitely something I want to do every year. It is perfect for anybody and they had entertainment all weekend long.

Big Surf: A wonderful wat to cool off during the hot summer days!
My family and I had a blast last week when we went to visit. We went there on a tuesday, which just happened to be free tube tuesday so all the tubes were free. They had a perfect little kids area for my 5 year old and awesome bigger slides for my 9 year old. We spent 6 hours there and left only because we had to. Their wave pool is the best i have ever been. I think this is the place to be if you want to cool off this summer.

Kohl's Ranch Lodge: A nice place to relax!
I stayed here with my 2 kids and we had such a nice time. The cabins are rustic and beautiful and they have so much to do. There is horseback riding, fishing, a game room, an excellent restaurant, and so much more. I highly recommend coming here for a weekend getaway.

Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino: Suggested plans for the 4th of July!
I just got a good deal to stay at this resort for the 4th of July. I got a room for 199.00 a night for 3 nights. It includes a 75 dollar credit per night that is good towards their restaurant, spa, and room service. I was also told that the casino next door to the resort was going to have battle of the bands and a huge firework display. The resort itself is going to have a dj, games, contests and a bbq by the pool......I personally think this is not a deal to pass up.

Greasewood Flat: Good cook out food with a westerly charm!
I absolutely adore going to this place. It has a western feel to it. It's all picnic table seating. It has cook out food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese and so on......it's a nice place to hang out or get down. I definitely recommend taking a night off and heading to the west for a night.

Radisson Woodlands Hotel–Flagstaff: A great place right inside the heart of flagstaff.
We went up to flagstaff to enjoy the snow for the weekend. When we arrived the staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were nice and we got ready for dinner. The hotel had a restaurant right there on site and it had delicious food. We then went and did a little bit of shopping ( we got sleds) to prepare for the following day. When we got up the next morning, i asked the front desk where a good place to go sledding would be and she printed out a list of good places. We had a great time. The hotel was nice and the staff was wonderful. I also loved the location. It was close to restaurants, shops, and NAU.
